The 6 ways to detox your body:
1.Drink lemon water first thing in the morning
Healthy eating is one good point, but have you got the essential vitamins? I suggest Lemon water. Simple, Tasty and yet effective. All you need is; A few Lemon slices, still warm (cold or hot) a few small cubes of ginger and mint for a refreshing flavor!
Why Drink Lemon water? Not only does it save use against cold’s and flu’s as I’ve mentioned above, but also it helps the digestive system, is rich in Vitamin C, so it rejuvenates your skin bringing a healthy glow to your face. (no make up blush needed afterward, heh) Overall, its a great blood purifier. Lemon is an antiseptic and people with heart problems should consider drinking lime-water juice. Don’t forget to consult your Doctor first. Any other magic that Lemon can do? Yes! Drinking Lemon water is a great remedy if yous currently trying to loose some weight, and as well all know, water flushes out all them bad toxins out of your body. Whats next? Ginger- Great for clearing your sinuses . It is useful for those struggling with arthritis, headaches and menstrual cramps. How? Simple- It has a warming effect and stimulates circulation. Mint is able to give a soothing effect and relieve pains in the stomach. Drink a cup of mint tea! Another great advantage is that balms with a mint base or basic mint oil, when rubbed on forehead and nose, gives relief in the case of a headache. The scent of mint is great for recharging your batteries, and brain functioning!
2. Raw juices made of carrots, green apples, kale, celery, lemon and grapefruit
Make your own juices, make sure you add some citrus (orange/lime/lemon/grapefruit)

3.Drink plenty of water. After all it’s 90% of what we are !!!! Water cleanses and hydrates the body , it helps remove excess oils and dirt. It fortifies your skin and prevents dryness and wrinkles. It also boosts the immune system, you should aim to drink at least 2 liters per day.
4.Apple cider vinegar
ACV flushes the body and helps it use the nutrients from food in the best way possible. It is high in fiber that absorbs toxins and improves bowel movement. ACV also makes you eat less by producing a feeling of satiety sooner. ACV detox drink is one of the most effective and easiest ways to clean your system and to shed a few pounds. Here is one of my favorite recipes, you would need the following ingredients
375 ml of filtered water
2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1 sweet orange
Wash and peel sweet orange and blend it using processor with the rest of the above ingredients for about 15 seconds. Decorate this detox water with a few lemon slices 🙂
5.Raw juice made of beetroot, celery, spirulina and spinach
Spinach is a great metabolism booster due to the high fiber content of leafy greens High fiber foods like leafy greens can increase your fat burn by 30%. Leafy greens like spinach and kale provide iron to support healthy blood. Spinach is rich in Vitamin B, which also leads to better metabolism.
Phthalides are phytochemicals present in celery lower stress hormones and relax muscle tissue in your arteries, improving blood flow. Celery has a high silicon content for rebuilding your bones, joints, connective tissues and arteries. Celery neutralizes acidity, alkalizes the body, balances the body’s pH.
Celery juice contains anti-cancer compounds and reduces the risk of certain cancers including colon and stomach cancer. It also lowers bad cholesterol and blood pressure as good as good as many prescription medications. Drinking celery juice helps balance weight by helping to reduce cravings for sweet foods. Celery juice also aids weight loss, reduces cellulite and puffiness by acting as a diuretic and reducing inflammation.
Beetroot is a great cleanser for your liver, intestines, kidneys and bladder, it’s loaded with nutrients, and stimulates the circulatory system, speeding up metabolism, this vegetable purifies the blood and has anti-carcinogenic properties. A large amount of fiber contained in beetroot improves digestive health, aiding the absorption of food and helping to regulate processes within the body – two key factors in aiding weight loss and reducing cholesterol. Beetroot also contains silica, which is good for your skin, hair, fingernails, ligaments, tendons and bones.
Spirulina eases the passage of waste through digestive system, thereby reducing stress on the entire system. It also promotes healthy bacteria and improves absorption of dietary nutrients. Spirulina also helps the body detox naturally, it contains a very high concentration of chlorophyll, one of nature’s most powerful detoxifying agents, which has been shown to be effective at helping remove toxins from the blood. Spirulina also strengthens our immune system, it actively promotes cell regeneration and helps wounds heal quicker, makes recovery from illnesses occur faster. Spirulina also keeps our eyes healthy as is very rich in vitamin A, which is exceptionally important for healthy eyes.
Here is the recipe:
Beetroot – 1 beet, 180g
Celery – 2 stalk, 130g
Spinach – 3 cup 100g
Spirulina (dried) – 1 teaspoon
Process all ingredients in your juicer and enjoy !
6.Teas containing dandelion or milk thistle may boost liver function, helping to decrease the build-up of toxins in the tissues.
